Manège Royal de Saint-Germain-en-Laye

This narrative show “Lumières sur Louis XIII”, with its 360° projections + hologram, explores this little-known king, deeply attached to Saint-Germain-en-Laye, whom History has hidden in the shadows of his father Henri IV and his son Louis XIV.

In the evening of his life, the king sees his childhood in Saint-Germain-en-Laye unfold in his dreams: hunting and falconry with his father, gardening, the restoration project of the Château-Neuf, the creation of the grottos  and their hydraulic automatons. He also thinks back to his passions for the arts, particularly dance, and the major markers of his reign.
